Favors, Redux

Is it just me, or do I spend an inordinate amount of time making and writing about party favors?

My Oldest has her birthday on Easter Sunday this year.  (Fun drinking game:  drink every time someone wishes her a "Hoppy" Birthday!)  We are having her party on Monday so that we don't interfere with anyone's religious holiday and family time.  We are hosting it at a local party place with inflatables and games and ball pits that promises to be loud and exhausting and overwhelmingly fun.  Best part is I don't have to clean my house, set up, make food, or clean up afterwards.  I just show up with a cake and my checkbook and they do the rest.

They even provide goody bags, but I decided I would put together one of my own as well.  Oldest loves dinosaurs and dragons right now, so I picked dinosaur favors, ordered from the mecca of kids craft and favor products, Oriental Trading

I plopped two squishy dinos and one lollipop into each bag.  Since the favors themselves aren't handmade, I wanted to have semi-cute packaging.  Here's my quick solution:

All you need is pretty paper, favor sacks, stapler, and a punch (mine said "thanks").

I cut squares from the paper, folded them in half, and punched the crease. Then I folded over the top of the bag, topped it with the punched square, and stapled everything in place.  Turned out cute, with the added bonus that the contents can't spill out of the bag now.

Definitely not my most handmade attempt ever, but with everything else going on in our lives, I'm content with this.  Do me a favor, and let me know what some of your favorite party goodies have been!
